Nucci Spine Institute was founded by Robert C. Nucci, M.D. in 1995.  Nucci Spine Institute is devoted to the care and treatment of spine patients and their specific needs.  NSI is a 14,000 square foot premier facility with state of the art equipment and highly trained staff.  We are devoted to excellence in spine care and strive to achieve the best results for our patients everyday.  Our on-site services include a comprehensive physician evaluation, physical therapy, massage therapy, pharmacy, radiology as well as laboratory services.
 

Robert C. Nucci, M.D. has been practicing medicine in the state of Florida for over a decade.  He completed his undergraduate studies and medical school at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.  Additionally, he completed his Orthopedic residency at Downstate, Brooklyn, NY in 1994.  Dr. Nucci went on to complete a fellowship in reconstructive neck and back surgery in Gainesville, Florida in 1995 and has been practicing in the Tampa Bay area since that time.

Dr. Nucci is an innovative researcher who has developed state of the art techniques in spine surgery including the development of the Percutaneous Cervical Spine Probe.  He was the first initial researcher and first Surgeon to use the artificial bone Bio-Plex in the United States.  Bio-Plex is currently being used widely in spine and orthopedic surgery.  Dr. Nucci lectures nationally and internationally on spine surgery.
